Spirit of Steele. As a child I was obsessed with the black stallion. Today, Grey happens to be my favourite colour of horse, but everyone likes a black horse. So, this evening, I decided to go a little more traditional and paint a 'normal' looking horse. No matter how a horse is portrayed they always have a sense of magnificence. I do like my abstract work, simply because there are many fantastic horse artists doing a much better job than I, and I like to be different, because the world would not be the same if we all did the same.

I did find it challenging, the shading, muscle definition, which brushes to use. But, I like a good challenge and I was really pleased with the result. The eyes are alive with passion and you can really feel the movement.

Whether digital or traditional, a good piece of art is a good piece of art.
